SuperPlasticizers (Super-Plasticizers)For concrete production

SuperPlasticizers (Super-Plasticizers), water reducers, and the reduction of HBV or high range water are chemical additives that are added to concrete mixes to improve workability. If the mixture is “hungry” water, the concrete strength is inversely proportional to the amount of added water or water-cement (w / c). Plasticizer in normal, active ingredients are adsorbed on cement, which makes them a negative charge, causing repulsion between the particles. Lignin, naphthalene and melamine sulfonate plasticizers are organic polymers. The long molecules wrap around the cement particles, making them a highly negative charge so they repel each other.

Polycarboxylate ether solvent (PCE) or simply polycarboxylate (PC) to function differently sulfonate based superplasticizer (Super-Plasticizers), which cement dispersion by steric stabilization instead of electrostatic repulsion. This form of dispersion is stronger in its effect and gives improved workability in mixing cement.
